S04-09-27:
Some exciting changes for this years Hawaii Ironman. The
most significant will be the pro's starting at 6:45 AM, some
15 minutes before the age groupers. This will show case the
pro race, and allow the women's race not to be as caught up
with some of the faster age groupers. In addition, the prize
money will be richer from second on down. Last year the
winners won 100 grand and second received 30 g's. This year
the runner up will be bumped up to 50. That's a bunch of
beer money. |
